Hey Beauties! After a long stressful semester I swore that going to UNLV and Las Vegas wasn’t going to tire me out but honestly I’m over the turn up for a while! I’m ready to wind down with the fam and enjoy some rest and see what everyone else has been up to out here! While visiting the Bay Area, I stopped by to check in on my bestfriend @NikkiiRose__, a self taught MUA who is BOMB when it comes to beating faces! She takes her time and is very precise and very knowledgeable about which products that makes a woman beautiful. Recently we celebrated the drop of her website to her cosmetics line NikkiiRoseCosemetics.com! Her products are affordable, animal cruelty free (so they are tested on humans) and individually made with ingredients beneficial to the skin. She offers Glosses, hi lighters & shadows! The products are super pigmented and ranges from colors for women of all shades so she doesn’t discriminate on skin tones! Also she gives out tips on which products are her fave and are essential to slaying a face! Personally my favorite items from NikkiiRoseCosmetics is the “Birthday Cake” glitter gloss for $18 and “BlueBerry Lemonade” highlighter for $25!

New Year New Goals- Same Me!

 

Happy New Year my fabulous followers ✨ and let’s all congratulate each other on making it OUT of 2017! I know we all were fighting our way to get through that horrible year but the strongest survive y’all and we made it! Let’s jump into what this post is really about which is New Years Resolutions. I’m so tired of hearing the new year new me BS because in all reality we never change. (Unless you’re getting a BBL or something). A lot of us don’t have to wait until January to make these “life changing” resolutions. In fact, most of us quit our resolutions before January is even over!

So, today I’m saying “New year, new goals BUT the same me!” A lot of us have this notion that the new year signifies that we should drop who we were (or our bad habits) for a new upgraded version of themselves. Which is fine, however it doesn’t happen at midnight when the ball drops. Just like any goal it takes persistence, dedication and a time frame! I realized managing your time and having deadlines for your goals make it easier to accomplish them! You should set weekly, monthly and yearly goals and accomplish them chronologically to secure success!

I have a few goals myself for this year! For one ☝🏾 the pic I used in the video is about 3 years old and that’s the body I’m trying to get back to! Well at least the stomach lol my ass can stay or get bigger!

So my goals are:

⁃ Accomplishing a smaller stomach, a fatter ass and wider hips naturally! So eating a little better and working out is needed and I’ll give myself about 6 months to accomplish this so my the summer I’ll be a bad lil jawn again

⁃ Getting all As this semester and being granted a scholarship! I hellllla wanna make deans list this semester

⁃ Join a sorority or some sort of BSU, getting more involved at UNLV at the beginning of the semester (I love my people of color)

⁃ NETWORK!!!!! I’m being more friendly and making new friends for business ventures

⁃ Continue my internship, keep on working and securing the bag!

⁃ Get dressed/Fine everyday. Slay these hoes. Sometimes college students get tired of dressing but when you look good you feel good!

⁃ Start my podcast! Prepare myself for a radio show later in life and get comfortable on the air! (Download the Tune In app and death Rize Radio to hear me on the air)

Some of these goals really don’t need a time frame kind of a just do it rhetoric. But either way it goes starting now is better than never starting! Get started on your New Years Resolutions and carry out all of your goals! This is a new year and we have another 12 months to improve ourselves! So, set a goal, set a time frame, and complete everything you need to get where you need in life. Be successful, be classy, and be a BOSS!

Make Good on the Promises to Yourself

Hey lovelies, thanks for finding your way back to FabCulture.co! One major part of FabCulture.co is motivation, boosting confidence, and uplifting women! And one way to have the most confidence in yourself is keeping the promises you make to yourself and actually achieve your goals. I noticed that I usually beat myself up when I break a promise to myself. I’d have a terrible day if I didn’t do the little things I told myself I would like I swore I’d do all my reading for lecture, or I swore I’d get a graphic done before it’s due at work. And trust me the list can go on forever, I used to break promises to myself all the time. I knew I would cat on any and every thing if I lost focus even a little bit. It makes my day go from bad to worse day just to know that I could have spent an hour of my time working towards something that would’ve prepared me and benefited my future. I don’t like to seem incapable of anything lol that’s the Aries in me. But I just decided to always stay 2 steps ahead and take on every single opportunity given to me. Along with prayer, going to bed earlier, eating healthier, meditation and acceptance. You must set apart your priorities from your luxuries and must accept your challenges and take care of your responsibilities first. All the fun stuff will just fall right in your lap trust me. Time management is also very helpful and in my career development class I noticed how essential it is even in your personal life to keep track of how much time you’re spending. There are only 24 hours in a day and organizing that time has made my days a lot more relaxed to get business handled. I accomplish more things successfully all while creating a good reputation for my profession, building rapport with potential clients, and leaving a trusting impression on those who are counting on me. If you’re 21+ like me you can’t do anything half ass right now because that will end up being your future… a half assed future. When you know you have the ability to do great just do it you’ll feel better accomplishing something and you’ll have more confidence in your day to day life!

Halloween 2017

Happy Halloween dolls! Thanks for returning to FabCulture.co blog! Today is finally the last day of October and I can’t be any happier that is already November and I have a few more projects this month but most importantly thanksgiving is around the corner! But first, let me recap on some things that took place before the month was over. Kayy and I teamed up with a local Las Vegas photographer who was interested in building a portfolio and expanding his website! Check out his updated work he goes crazy when it comes to the camera (gothadaway.myportolio.com/photography) He explained that he just built in a studio and you know Kayy and I HAD to try it out and even decided to quickly grab a costume and make magic. I was a sexy ninja and she was a biker chick and I love the outcome of our photos! Working with Thaddeus was so cool cause he’s so professional and experienced. His website is literally so organized and he works FAST. Got our pictures back already with edits! He does videography as well, as photography as he has a variety of special effects to make your vision become reality.

Let Me Introduce Myself

If you’ve found your way to FabCulture.co then congratulations! You have great taste! First, I want to start off by saying thank you for visiting this blog and I want to get personal and let you in on a little bit about me and my team. Well my name is Teliyah but most of the time I go by Leilah or Lele. I’m 21 years old, an Aries, I do nails, love makeup, dressing up/getting fine, going out-whether it’s a brunch or a strip club, I just like to be out and have fun wherever I go. My obsession over make up started as a young girl, I used to get dressed with my cousin and play “club” no not doctor, not house. We had on heels and a dress with some eyeshadow, lipstick and of course our nails were painted. We even mixed different juices out the fridge to make pretend alcoholic beverages! Yeah I know, we were basically preparing for the future lol. I’m currently a full time student at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I study communications, marketing, and broadcasting and eventually I want to build a brand and have my own segment on the radio. I’m kind of crazy sometimes, hence the name Leilah Loca (I go by that on instagram and Rize Radio visit tun.in/sfqkK ) & currently work with helping new companies market their brands in Las Vegas. I love to dance, I can play the piano but I can’t read music for shit and I speak spanglish throughout the day for fun. I love talking to people, networking, and I admire people who do what they want and live out their dreams and aspirations.

The brand I’m currently working on is FabCulture, and it is basically what it sounds like- A culture of everything fabulous! Not everyone can be as extra, confident, and fabulous and it is something you live by and is something natural that’s in you. I get called extra and animated all the time and I’ve just embraced it. I always have a million ideas that I want to implement and I just think I’m more complex than the average person. Currently, I’ve been in love with nails! I started doing nails because I wanted to do my own and ended up making a side hustle out of it! FabCulture consists of makeup, hair, nails, and fashion inspo for all our #FabFriends for services etc! I’m all into collaboration and uplifting women so I’ve teamed up with some great cosmetologists and aspiring stylists who are just as extra as myself to help fufill this dream I have for this brand who just happen to be super important in my life and my two of my favorite people in the world. Kayy or @KayyStylz on instagram is raw when it comes to make up and even better at hair honey! Being a licensed cosmetologist and also working at a popluar salon, she’s highly trained and very professional. Also with a diverse background, textures don’t matter sis. From a blowout to a closure, she got you! Next we have Nicole or @NikkiRose___ the eyebrow guru! This girl can slay some makeup, okay? Not only is she a poppin make up artist in the Bay Area, she has created her own cosmetics line called NikkiiRoseCosmetics. She uses a cruelty-free products made with natural ingredients, highlighters, lip gloss, eyeshadows, etc!

Each of us currently work independently however this blog is to dump our work and create beautiful looks to inspire beautiful young women!
